The BEARPAW Flemish Braided Rope Loom, a tool for easily braiding your traditional ropes. We have been using it for several years to manufacture custom strings for our traditional archers. You can use spools of Fast-Flight or Dacron line from the brand: BCY bowstring or Brownell Compagny.
The making of Flemish strings was kept secret in the Middle Ages. Our String Board is made from solid beech and immensely with the plaiting of Flemish strings. We use these strings in our own strings at Bearpaw Products and every year.
