Arrows with 3-inch feathers are most commonly used in traditional archery for bows of lower draw weights and for the arrows of youth and children. By reducing the drag with 3“ feathers even these lighter bows can see faster arrow speeds than if using longer feathers. We have used a flatter profile in our Shield shape to perfectly optimize stabilization and arrow speed.
