The Lansky Blade Medic features 4 sharpeners in one tool. It is designed to be portable so it can be used in the field. The durable plastic case is compact and easily slides in and out of a pocket. It is able to sharpen just about any knife, even serrated blades and gut hooks.
Tungsten Carbide - This is used for coarse sharpening. It will restore dull edges very quickly in just a few strokes.
Ceramic Rods - The ceramic pull through rods put a fine edge on your knife. We recommend using it after the carbide stage.
Serrated Sharpener - This ceramic stage will sharpen serrated knives to a fine edge. It is small enough to sharpen even smaller serrations.
Diamond Tapered Rod - The diamond rod sharpens quickly. It can be used on straight edges, serrated edges and even gut hooks.
The pull through carbide and ceramic rods are pre set at 22.5 degrees per side for an inclusive angle of 45 degrees.
