The TopHat®Protector is a one- piece precision- head that coats the first 1,5 mm of the carbon shaft. This protects the shaft of breaking and splaying.

3D - Shape:
That especially for 3D animals/targets designed shape is characterized through its high effectiveness. In comparison with other arrowheads this 3D shaped arrow point enters more aggressive and strait into the target. Through the shape of the arrowhead there is a high resistance of diversion. This leads to less tension and therefore more protection for the shaft. The shape prevents rebound on the surface of the target.
Giglio - Shape:
The Giglio- shape (ital. for lily) combines the advantages of a very elegant Bullet- shape and an even easier pulling through the tapering from head to shaft.
TopHat®Protector Technology:
The coating of the arrowhead protects the carbon texture at its weakest point completely.
It is still not recommended to shoot intentional against concrete walls but tests showed outstanding survival rates for carbon shafts.
The grooves for the glue at the shaft of the head are purposely low- shaped. This prevents the usage of too much glue. Wrong spread glue can cause imbalance.
Installation: After about 60 seconds the TopHat®Protector point sticks perfectly together with the carbon shaft (with TopHat®Bond). Beforehand the carbon shaft has to be whet from the inside and cleaned with a solvent. 1-2 drops of TopHat®Bond onto the shaft of the head and pushed in a rotating movement all the way until it is tight fastened.
Easy pulling: Similar to the wooden arrows the head diameter is broader than the carbon shaft. This feature causes the effect of an expansion at the point of entry. This makes the pulling noticeable easier.
Run- point accuracy of the arrow point: 0.006 µ
Break-Off:
The head has one or more break-offs at is end. These break-offs can be broken off at leisure to get the ideal arrowhead weight.
Special insertions at the break off area make sure that the tolerance of the weight, after breaking- off a part, is absolutely slight.
To agglutinate the TopHat®Break-Off-Points we recommend TopHat®Bond.
